Fraser Rugs

We are still open for business through email, phone and website orders

I just want to let everyone know even through this virus we are still taking orders by phone, email and the website. We have the business on our property and work from home, it is just Dave and I working, if anyone needs supplies while having to stay at home during this time we do ship everyday. So far the virus isn't in Patrick County where we live and work. I know a lot of businesses are having to shut down during this but we always have and will continue take all the necessary precautions because of the type of work we do we are always washing our hands. We would love to see pictures of half or finished rugs. Be safe and we will get through these rough times.

How our Fraser and Bliss Machines are in the finishing production

After we get the casting back from the foundry we set them up on our CNC machine to drill and ream the holes. The process for the Bliss Model A including set up time takes an 1 1/2 hours to do six castings at a time and the process for the Fraser model 500-1  including set up time takes  2 hours to do 8 castings at a time and there are two operations to get the Fraser Model 500-1 castings done. Once we have this done they are then hand milled and sanded, we then take them to get powder coated, then we have to tap the holes for the screws and hand ream the bigger holes and press bearings into them, then assemble the machines and test them.
